    Oregon Mobile Crisis Specialty Module
  • AOCMHP, with funding support from OHA, is hosting this FREE Mobile Crisis Module for Oregon Mobile Crisis Staff

    This covers training requirements in OAR 309-072-0120 for specific populations and groups. 

    Please indicate your interest in attending or sending staff to this training.This a separate Mobile Crisis specialty module for new mobile crisis responders, including QMHPs, QMHAs, Peer Support Specialists, and EMS workers.

    This is available to those who have completed the Core Mobile Crisis Training Series. 

    This is a 4-hour module

    Description: An in depth module on strategies for working with people who have intellectual/developmental disabilities or other cognitive impairment.

    Who should attend:

    This training is for mobile crisis staff which can include QMHPs, QMHAs, Peers and other Family Support partners in Crisis

    Trainer:Jessica Leitner, MSW

     Jessica Leitner, an accomplished mental health and behavior consultant, trainer, and has spent more than 30 years advocating for adults and families with Developmental Disabilities. She served as an Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Trainer and Steering Committee Member and helped bring Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training to local law enforcement agencies in Clackamas County and Portland. Jessica earned a master’s in social work from Portland State University and a BA in Psychology from Oregon State University. Previously, she held positions with Multnomah County, Clackamas County Mental Health and several non-profits.


     Important note about Continuing Education Credits (CEs):

    This module has been accepted through AOCMHP as a MHACBO accredited and approved training. Attendees may receive a certificate for this training indicating MHACBO approval.

     For those needing Social Work or other CEUs specifically, you can take your training completion certificate and course info to seek approval to your individual licensing boards.
