AOCMHP, with funding support from OHA, is hosting this FREE Mobile Crisis Training for Oregon Mobile Crisis Staff
Please indicate your interest in attending or sending staff to this training.This is a foundational mobile crisis training academy is for newer mobile crisis responders under 2 years in Crisis response), including QMHPs, QMHAs, Peer Support Specialists, and EMS workers. For further learning, join our Deeper Dive Specialty Modules as those become available.
The core curriculum covers many of the training requirements in OAR 309-072-0120 (c), including:
· De-escalation,
· Crisis and safety planning,
· Suicide risk screening,
· Trauma-informed response,
· Harm reduction techniques, and
· Specialized responses for culturally specific groups and for people with co-occurring disorders

Who should attend:
This training is for newer mobile crisis staff which can include QMHPs, QMHAs, Peers and other Family Support partners in Crisis
Important note about Continuing Education Credits (CEs):
This training has been accepted through AOCMHP as a MHACBO accredited and approved training. Attendees may receive a certificate for this training indicating MHACBO approval.
For those needing Social Work or other CEUs specifically, you can take your training completion certificate and course info to seek approval to your individual licensing boards.
