  • ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž: To identify individuals or organizations interested in being fully CAMS trained by completing all components of the CAMS program. You may apply individually or on behalf of an organization, but please specify the number of staff you would like to include if applying as an organization.

    We are currently forming a waitlist for our next CAMS training cohort (up to 50 participants). If space becomes available, applicants will be contacted in the order received. If we are unable to include you in this cohort, you will be notified and informed of future CAMS training opportunities offered through ORBIT and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

In addition to completing the online 3.5-hour training, being fully trained entails participating in a 7.5-hour role play training and 4 consultation calls (see below for more info about these additional components).

    With funding and support from OHA, we are able to offer these additional components at no cost to organizations in order to have clinicians fully trained to utilize CAMS effectively with patients (CEUs are available for staff to purchase separately). This ensures that clinicians are in fact administering the evidence-based treatment protocol that has been proven effective to reduce suicidal ideation in patients and participants can be listed on the CAMS-care Clinician Locator directory, if desired. We are able to offer this in cohort groups for organizations in order to practice role play scenarios together and work through specific cases or challenges that come up for clinicians.

    ๐…๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐€๐Œ๐’ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐‹๐‹ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
    1) Completing CAMS Foundational online video course (3.5 hr.) (Free: Valued at $99)
    2) Completing 1-day (7.5 hour) training online to role play with others from organization or cohort. Provides opportunity to practice completing the Suicide Status Form with other mental health professionals learning the model. (Free: Valued at $200 per person)
    3) Attending 4 Consultation Calls. After using CAMS with patients, clinicians will need to attend 4 calls that give clinicians a forum to discuss cases, best practices and work with experienced CAMS consultants to answer questions (Free: Valued at $60)
